Who we are

Mitzvah Shirah is your family’s one-stop-shop for Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation and your child’s complete Jewish education, specializing in working closely with individual and families who are unaffiliated with a synagogue or do not attend a Hebrew school regularly. Beyond offering one-on-one Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutoring and private lessons in Hebrew Reading and Writing, we have the unique ability to create a customized and complete Jewish Education covering a myriad of Judaic studies. Depending on the goals of the parents or the student themselves, we can cover subjects that include but are not limited to: Torah, Mitzvot, Middot, Jewish Holidays and Shabbat, as well a comprehensive history of Israel and the Diaspora.

Mitzvah Shirah will happily work with your family to create the ideal Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience for your child whether your vision is traditional, unique, or unconventional. Weekly lessons are conveniently taught primarily via Zoom or FaceTime.
